Job summary

Griffith Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer for the Southern Region. The role involves planning, monitoring and supervising on-site construction engineering activities, interfacing with owners on progress and changes, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and budgets.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with strong time management, writing and communication skills, and proficiency in Build2Win, Sketch Up, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combinations of training and related experience.
• Strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and computer skills.
• First Aid, CPR/AED, OSHA 10/30 training are valued.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and price out change orders.
• Manage job controls to ensure budget, schedule, forecasting and costing compliance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and CPM updates.
• Supervise project engineering staff and coordinate multi-phase construction tasks.
• Provide technical advice and resolve problems with project team.
• Prepare weekly project schedules and project reports for management and owners.
• Maintain project budgets and support the Project Manager.
