Job summary

Griffith Company in California’s landscape division seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and Estimator, coordinating field teams and subcontractors on multi‑phase construction projects.

You will assist with budgeting, change orders, schedule, and document control, ensuring quality, safety, and timely reporting. A Bachelor’s degree and strong organization, written/presentation skills, and Build2Win proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combinations of training and experience.
• Strong work ethic and time management skills.
• Excellent writing, presentation and computer skills.
• Proficiency with Build2Win and contract accounting concepts.
• Understanding of critical path and delays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and managing the field team with the Project Manager and Estimator.
• Analyze and price out change orders.
• Assist the Project Manager with project objectives and owner liaison.
• Manage project finances including cost reports, billings and budgets.
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and scheduling coordination.
