Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of commercial construction experience in a Project Engineer role or similar.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, drawings, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with cost control, scheduling, and document coordination.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change requests, and associated logs for timely resolution.
• Support project buyout, subcontract administration, and procurement activities.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project schedules including look‑ahead planning.
• Monitor costs, support forecasting, and track quantities and reporting.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals to resolve field issues.
• Participate in meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, and distribute follow‑up docs.
• Support quality control processes and documentation requirements.
• Assist with safety planning, compliance tracking, and site safety initiatives.
• Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools to support execution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned.
