Job summary

Spencer Construction, located in San Luis, AZ, seeks a Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and manage on-site construction activities for critical civil works. The role requires ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to contracts and schedules.

Responsibilities include managing project controls, developing schedules, forecasting, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors. Travel is required, and the position emphasizes collaboration with field teams to drive efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction engineering, field support, or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration (Accounting, Finance, or Management), or a related field - or equivalent relevant job experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact clearly and effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and familiarity with construction-specific software platforms.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employer does not provide visa sponsorship.

• Represent the company in project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients.
• Collaborate with field personnel to ensure efficient and aligned project execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
