Job summary

gpac LLC. is seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant PM to join a Commercial Mechanical/HVAC Subcontractor team in California. The role focuses on planning, budgeting, takeoffs, and client communication within a growing project environment.

Ideal candidates will be focused, strategic, and capable of managing multiple tasks with strong software proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office. VO work authorization in the US is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam preferred.
• Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Read plans and conduct onscreen takeoffs.
• Create project budgets and generate proposals for customers.
• Manage projects during production to keep them within budget.
• Schedule job-site visits with the Production Team.
• Make takeoff sheets, determine pricing and create estimates for specialty projects.
• Extract details from plans when requested.
• Answer inquiries from customers and team via phone and email.
• Perform other office duties and tasks as assigned.
