Job summary

Stewart & Tate, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support Project Managers in delivering projects within budget, schedule, and quality as defined by construction documents.

The role involves preparing Change Orders, recording drawings, compiling manuals, and supporting meetings. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
• Familiarity with Sage Timberline Project Management Software is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow through on assignments with minimal direction and set priorities under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pricing, submitting, recording and tracking of all Owner and Subcontractor Change Order Requests.
• Record and incorporate all supplementary sketches to the contract drawings.
• Compile the Operations and Maintenance Manuals at the end of projects in accordance with the project documents.
• Maintain Logs for distribution at Progress Meetings.
• Attend Project Manager Meetings.
• Assist Project Manager in reviewing Subcontractor and Owner Progress Billings.
• Assist the Project Manager in CPM scheduling.
