Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a technically skilled project leader to guide a team through capital projects from concept to startup. You will support the Project Manager in managing performance, cost, schedule, and client satisfaction, operating with minimal supervision.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience managing capital projects in chemical, petrochemical, or refining environments, and hold a BS/MS in engineering with PE or PMP preferred.
Job Scope: Responsible for technical leadership of a project as well as for supporting the Project Manager in managing project performance of the engineering team with respect to cost, schedule and Client satisfaction. This work will be performed under minimal supervision.
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
This position requires 5+ years of relevant experience managing capital projects at a chemical, petrochemical, or petroleum refining plant.
