Johnson Matthey Plc seeks a Project Engineer II in West Deptford, NJ to drive capital projects from design through commissioning and handover, while maintaining robust change control and safety.

You will monitor scope, budget, schedule, and progress; report to stakeholders; manage risks and contractor interfaces; contribute to readiness and stage-gate reviews; and pursue continuous improvement in project performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience supporting engineering or capital projects.
• Ability to manage change while maintaining process and operational safety.
• Strong project reporting, budgeting and controls interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Support capital projects from design through construction, commissioning and handover with robust change control.
• Monitor project scope, budget, schedule and engineering progress with clear stakeholder reporting.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and contractor interfaces to ensure safe delivery.
• Prepare capital expenditure requests and evaluate alternative technologies and vendors.
• Contribute to construction readiness, commissioning plans and stage-gate reviews across the project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement through analysis and project performance metrics.
