Job summary

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered, a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering firm headquartered in Washington, DC, is seeking a Project Engineer to support multiple projects for the DC Water Clean Rivers program. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of civil engineering experience and a degree in Civil Engineering, with EIT/FE certification preferred.

PE license is not required. Responsibilities include reading site plans and utility plans and contributing to sewer rehabilitation

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience, including 2 years U.S.-based.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT/FE certification preferred; PE license not required.
• Experience reading and preparing site plans and utility plans.
• Experience in sewer line rehabilitation/repair preferred, especially large diameters.

This position includes supporting multiple projects for the DC Water Clean Rivers program.

Responsibilities

• Help modernize critical wastewater infrastructure serving thousands of residents and visitors
• Work alongside industry experts while advancing leadership and technical skills in the client's integrated program office

Qualifications

• The role requires 3–5 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years of U.S. based experience.
• Candidate must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• EIT/FE certification preferred; PE license not required
• Experience in reading and preparing site plans and utility plans and profiles
• Experience in sewer line rehabilitation/repair is preferred, particularly large diameter lines.
