Job summary

Jobot in Warrensburg, Missouri, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to assist in installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, conduct diagnostics on machinery and robotics, and coordinate with operations, technicians, and vendors to ensure projects run smoothly.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least 2 years of field experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or field service engineering.
• Experience with mechanical systems, machinery operation, and process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment, ensuring systems are properly integrated and fully operational.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement root cause solutions for recurring issues.
• Conduct inspections, performance testing, and system diagnostics on industrial machinery and robotics.
• Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and lifecycle performance.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, technicians, and external vendors during installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation for installations, service activities, and equipment performance.
