Job summary

Sagebrush Pipeline Equipment designs and manufactures engineered-to-order equipment for the natural gas, pipeline, power generation, and midstream markets. The Project Engineer will support equipment packages from design through fabrication, testing, and delivery.

The right candidate may come from mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing, fabrication, or process engineering, with emphasis on cross-functional project execution and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation drawings.
• Experience with engineered equipment and cross-functional project execution.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from kickoff through fabrication and delivery.
• Review customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, fabrication, vendors, and customers.
• Support equipment layouts, drawing reviews, and project execution.
• Assist with BOMs, procurement activities, and technical documentation.
• Help resolve fabrication and production-related issues.
• Support customer submittals and project schedules.

We're looking for a Project Engineer to support equipment packages from design through fabrication, testing, and delivery.

The right person may come from a mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing, fabrication, or process engineering background. More important than discipline is experience working with engineered equipment, fabrication, and cross-functional project execution.

What You'll Do

• Support projects from kickoff through fabrication and delivery
• Review customer specifications and technical requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, design, fabrication, vendors, and customers
• Support equipment layouts, drawing reviews, and project execution
• Assist with BOMs, procurement activities, and technical documentation
• Help resolve fabrication and production-related issues
• Support customer submittals and project schedules

What We're Looking For

We're more interested in relevant experience and problem-solving ability than a specific degree path.

Candidates may come from backgrounds including:

• Electrical Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Controls & Instrumentation
• Package or Process Equipment Engineering

Strongly Preferred Experience

• Fabrication or manufacturing environments
• Skid-mounted or packaged equipment
• Natural gas, pipeline, oil & gas, power generation, or industrial equipment
• BOM development and material procurement
• Working directly with fabrication and shop personnel
• Reading mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation drawings

Nice to Have

• Electrical and instrumentation exposure
• Controls or automation exposure
• EPC or systems integration experience
• AutoCAD, CADWorx, or related engineering software
• Familiarity with pressure vessels, piping systems, metering, regulation, compression, or related process equipment
