Federal Express Corporation in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced industrial engineer to lead multiple projects, evaluate manpower and systems initiatives, and implement plans to reduce costs while boosting revenues and customer service. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, 7+ years of experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.
Preference for Python, R, SQL, and data tools such as Power BI/Tableau, with cloud and ML deployment experience.
Leads multiple projects simultaneously, including the evaluation and implementation of manpower and systems projects designed to reduce operating and expenses, increase revenues and enhance customer service.
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or another related engineering discipline.
Seven (7) years experience in industrial engineering or related engineering experience.
Preferred: Python, R, or similar programming languages, SQL and large-scale data processing, Machine Learning and AI techniques, model deployment, and production AI environments. Statistical analysis and experimental design'. Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and production AI environments. The posting will close on Friday, September 4, 2026, 5:00 PM CDT.
The desired location for this position is Memphis, TN (MEM) location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
