Job summary

JW Resources is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support field and office teams on multi-million dollar heavy civil DOT projects. You will assist with planning, procurement, scheduling, submittals, and cost reporting to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and 1+ years in heavy civil construction, with strong communication and documentation skills. This role offers excellent salary and benefits in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1+ years in heavy civil construction.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide field and project engineering support to the team.
• Procure materials for DOT projects and manage logistics.
• Assist with project planning and scheduling.
• Manage subcontractors and submittals throughout the project.
• Record quantities and update cost reports; inspect site quality.

Job description

Well established and respected heavy civil construction company has an immediate need for an experienced PROJECT ENGINEER. The ideal candidate will be self motivated with strong planning and problem solving skills capable of functioning efficiently in a fast paced environment. They will provide field and project engineering support to the team that builds multi million dollar heavy civil DOT projects. Responsibilities will include procuring materials, project planning, managing the schedule and sub contractors, submittals, recording quantities and updating cost reports and inspecting the site to ensure quality standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1+ years of heavy civil construction experience. A working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, P6 Primavera, HCSS and BlueBeam is a plus. Strong communication and documentation skills are a must!
