Job Description
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications.
  • Maintain document control and tracking logs.
  • Support procurement and material expediting.
  • Coordinate drawing revisions and engineering communications.
  • Track scope changes and assist with change documentation.
  • Support turnover and closeout documentation.
  • Build and maintain installation work packages.
  • Coordinate with construction, quality, and safety departments to generate weekly and monthly reports on project status and financials.
  • Ensure Field Engineers perform installation audits and tracking updates for accurate client reporting.
  • Assist Superintendents, Procurement, and Logistics teams with bill of material for installation work packages.
  • Assist Assistant Project Managers with design revisions and change management process.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of project engineer and construction experience.
  • Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred.
  • Experience in industrial construction preferred.
  • Knowledge in estimating, scheduling, and purchasing.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand a CPM schedule and identify critical paths.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Regular and reliable attendance at work.
