Job summary

nVent is seeking engineers to review designs and documentation, develop schedules, and coordinate multi-disciplinary activities across global projects. You will travel to customer sites for technical evaluations, support field measurements, and resolve design or warranty issues with accuracy and speed.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and hands-on experience with CAD tools like AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar field.
  • Working knowledge of drafting and 3-D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • 1-2+ years of engineering or design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review quotes, proposals, and purchase orders to confirm design requirements, technical accuracy, and pricing.
  • Develop project design schedules; monitor progress and resolve issues.
