Job summary

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions in Seattle, WA is seeking a Project Engineer to work with a team of office and field staff to renovate existing systems or help a brand-new building come together. In return, you’ll gain growth opportunities and responsibility as you contribute to big projects.

The role reports to Senior Project Managers and involves collaboration across departments to support our growing business.

  • Track record of delivering on excellent, detailed work.
  • Interest and aptitude in mechanical systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field.

  • Top 3 delivery priorities: grow skills in HVAC and plumbing systems, learn from talented colleagues, and schedule/track progress of equipment and materials.

Project Engineer: This is where you come in.

We’re looking for Project Engineers who will work effectively on a team of office and field employees to help get a big job done, whether that’s flexing your creative muscles to figure out how to renovate an existing system or help an entire brand-new building come together. The Project Engineer role reports to one of our Senior Project Managers and works on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization.

Top 3 things to deliver in the first year to be a hero:
  • Increase your skills by studying HVAC and plumbing systems and learning as much as you can from the very talented people around you!
  • Assist in preparing subcontracts, purchase orders, correspondence field questions, and job write-ups, to learn more about how a building comes together.
  • Schedule and track job progress, including delivery of equipment and materials.

Compensation

$75,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
