Job summary

Nautilus Homes is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to join our growing team in Sarasota. You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, learning every stage of custom residential construction and coordinating projects from planning through completion.

We are a second-generation family-owned builder known for award-winning waterfront homes, emphasizing quality craftsmanship, innovation, and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Procore experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support Superintendent and Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Process and enter RFIs, submittals, permits, inspections, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Track project schedules and construction progress.
• Perform regular site visits to monitor quality and field coordination.
• Help maintain accurate project records using construction management software.
• Assist with material procurement and delivery coordination.
• Identify potential issues early and help develop practical solutions.

Nautilus Homes is looking for an entry-level Project Engineer to join our growing team. What You'll Do

As a Project Engineer, you'll help ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and moving efficiently from planning through completion.
