Job summary

Nautilus Homes in Sarasota, FL is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to learn every stage of custom residential construction and help coordinate projects from planning through completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in internships or entry-level roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Procore experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support Superintendent and Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Process and enter RFIs, submittals, permits, inspections, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Track project schedules and construction progress.
• Perform regular site visits to monitor quality and field coordination.
• Help maintain accurate project records using construction management software.
• Assist with material procurement and delivery coordination.
• Identify potential issues early and help develop practical solutions.

Nautilus Homes is looking for an entry-level Project Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents while learning every stage of custom residential construction. What You'll Do

As a Project Engineer, you'll help ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and moving efficiently from planning through completion.
