Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is seeking a Project Engineer in the greater Pasadena, CA area. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering and 4+ years of design engineering in aerospace manufacturing are required.

You will lead cross-functional projects and ensure production readiness. As the primary technical contact for customers, you will drive product validation, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with aerospace quality

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/aerospace engineering.
• 4+ years of electrical or mechanical design engineering in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience leading NPD projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with aerospace quality standards.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering discipline with experience in product development or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• 4 or more years of electrical or mechanical design engineering experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment is required for this role.
• Lead new product development projects, managing timelines, budgets, engineering documentation, and production readiness.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as the primary technical contact for customers throughout project execution.
• Drive product validation, process improvements, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards while supporting manufacturing, testing, and documentation activities.
