Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and distribute construction documents (RFIs, ASIs, etc.).
• Review, expedite, and track submittals.
• Attend job site meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
• Assist in preparing bid packages, issuance of contract documents, and invoice approvals.
• Assist in producing and updating project schedules.
• Assist in resolving design issues.
• Schedule and document client training for new systems and equipment.
• Manage project closeout process, including owner training and archiving project records.
• Manage warranty requests.
• Maintain organized and safe worksites.

Job description

Ground Up Construction Recruiting has partnered with a local general contractor in Omaha on their search for a Project Engineer. They build healthcare, education, office, retail, industrial, and community projects that are typically between $5M-$15M. They currently have a $50M+ backlog and focus on bidding projects within a 250 mile radius of Omaha (most projects are in the Omaha metro).
