Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company in Omaha, NE seeks a results‑driven Project Manager to lead project teams from estimate through completion. You will manage scheduling, cost reporting, design coordination, and QA to deliver high‑quality results for complex build programs.

The role requires 2–5 years of design/build experience with a general contractor, strong proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office, and a collaborative leadership style. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • 2-5 years of proven design/build experience with a general contractor.
  • Estimating experience required.
  • Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Procore.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
  • Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
  • Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
  • Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs and provide value engineering ideas
  • Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
  • Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings
  • Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
  • Use customer input to make improvements and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
  • Act with integrity, supporting the company, its values, and other associates while maintaining a focus on meeting/exceeding expectations
  • Mentor or oversee Project Managers
