Job summary

The Fordy Group in the Southeast is seeking Project Engineers with 1–4 years of construction experience to support major industrial projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to drive on-time, on-budget delivery and ensure quality across sites.

This role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and clear long-term progression within an ESOP-owned company that values safety, reliability, and steady career growth across diverse industrial sectors.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of construction experience.
  • Background in heavy industrial sectors preferred.
  • Construction/Engineering degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the Southeast.

I'm currently partnering with a well-established, employee-owned industrial contractor that's looking to hire Project Engineers to support major industrial projects across the Southeast.

Responsibilities


  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents with the successful delivery of heavy industrial projects.

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation.

  • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

  • Monitor project progress and help resolve field issues.

  • Maintain project documentation, reporting, and quality standards.


Requirements


  • 1–4 years' experience within construction.

  • Background in heavy industrial, manufacturing, power, chemical, petrochemical, pulp & paper, water/wastewater, or similar industrial sectors preferred.

  • Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree preferred.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to travel across the Southeast.
