Trueline is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in the Bronx, NY or New Haven, CT. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure projects in one of the world's most dynamic urban environments.

What You'll Do as the Project Engineer:

• Collaborate with the project team on design, engineering, and construction aspects
• Liaise with NYSDOT and MTA to ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements
• Create construction methodologies, working drawings, and submit necessary documentation
• Manage change orders, material deliveries, and equipment logistics
• Oversee subcontractor activities and ensure contract compliance
• Troubleshoot engineering and construction challenges as they arise
• Facilitate effective communication between field operations and project management

Must-Haves as the Project Engineer:

• 6-10 years of experience in heavy highway and bridge construction
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Familiarity with NYSDOT standard specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to produce clear, concise reports and correspondence
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license

Nice-To-Haves as the Project Enginee r:
