Renova Environmental Company, an employee-owned heavy civil contractor, seeks a Project Engineer to split time between field and office in Ocean Township, NJ. This hands-on, early-career role supports crews, prepares reports and drawings, and collaborates with project managers.

Competenze

• 0 to 5 years of experience in environmental, civil, or construction-related work.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a Life/Physical Science.
• Strong written, verbal, and computer skills; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Safe driving record and willingness to travel up to 50% overnight.

Mansioni

• Support in-house construction crews and site superintendents in the field.
• Oversee subcontractors and manage day-to-day site activities.
• Complete daily field logs and lead safety briefings.

Project Engineer, Environmental & Heavy Civil Construction

Renova Environmental Company is an employee-owned heavy civil contractor specializing in environmental remediation, ecological restoration, and water infrastructure. Founded in 2006 and employee-owned since 2021, we deliver high-quality, safe, and sustainable projects for federal, commercial, industrial, utility, and non-profit clients.

This is a hands-on role for an early-career engineer or scientist who wants real field experience. You will split your time between the field and the office, working alongside our crews, superintendents, and project managers.

What you'll do

• Support in-house construction crews and site superintendents in the field

What we're looking for

• $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience, plus overtime
• Total annual earnings typically $75,000 to $90,000+ with overtime and prevailing wage project pay, depending on project assignment and hours
