Ryan Companies Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join the on-site team in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on learning Ryan processes, procedures, and policies while working from a construction site for six months or the project duration.

You will support RFIs, shop drawings, deliveries, safety, permits, punchlists, and scheduling with mentorship. The candidate should have a construction-related Bachelors degree and strong mathematical, drawing-reading, and communication skills to interface

Qualifications

• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field required.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and read drawings.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems.
• Strong responsibility, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in generating and tracking RFIs and approvals.
• Maintain shop drawing log and coordinate drawings.
• Learn dimensional control and verify field dimensions against shop drawings.
• Coordinate vendor and subcontractor deliveries.
• Support safety policies and site logistics.
• Participate in permit inspections and punchlist processes.
• Assist in preparing and updating the project schedule.
