Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems in Menomonee Falls, WI seeks a Project Engineer to lead engineering programs from planning through sustainment, coordinating across disciplines and suppliers to deliver reliable power solutions for the U.S. Navy and other missions.

You will translate complex requirements into executable plans, drive risk management, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality and manufacturability.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting engineering projects, product development, systems integration, manufacturing, or program execution in a complex technical environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both engineering and non-engineering audiences.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to identifying risks, resolving issues, and driving results.
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, marine, power systems, electromechanical systems, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with configuration management, requirements management, engineering change processes, and product lifecycle management.
  • Project management experience or certification.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and design-for-manufacturability principles.

Job Summary

Naval Power Systems is seeking a driven, technically capable Project Engineer to help deliver high-impact power solutions supporting the U.S. Navy and other critical defense missions. What You Will Do

As a Project Engineer, you will serve as a key technical leader throughout the product and program lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

Education & Experience Requirements

U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
