Job summary

Ferrovial, via Webber, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Houston-based team. You will support the Project Manager and Superintendent, helping plan, organize, and track project activities while in the field 20–30% of the time.

You'll review submittals, RFIs, logs, and costs, coordinate with owners and vendors, and help keep budgets on track. A civil/Construction degree and 3+ years of experience are preferred, with strong MS Office and Primavera 6 skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3+ years of project engineering experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager and Superintendent in planning and tracking.
• Manage project submittals & RFIs and maintain project logs.
• Communicate with owner and client representatives.
• Maintain project budgets and cost reports.
• Schedule self-perform, subcontractor work and material deliveries.

Are you passionate about driving project success and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within a dynamic environment? Webber, an industry leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our team.

Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation

The Project Engineer provides support to the Project Manager and the Project Superintendent. The support goals include goal setting, planning, communicating, organizing, implementing, and tracking. The Project Engineer is in the field 20%-30% of the time.

What You Will Do:

• Acquiring, organizing, reviewing and distributing project submittals & RFIs.
• Creating and maintaining all required Project Logs and takeoffs.
• Communicating with the owner and client representatives.
• Maintaining project budgets and complete required cost reports.
• Scheduling self-perform, subcontractor work and supplier material deliveries.
• Reading and interpreting documents such as project plans and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar degree. Preferably with 3 years or more experience.
• Moderate to high level of proficiency operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, and Primavera 6
