Job summary

Ambs Chemical Search LLC's Huntington, WV site seeks a Project Engineer to lead capital and expense projects from inception through start-up, driving scope, schedule, cost and teamwork with plant and corporate resources to improve site performance.

You will manage contractors, prepare bid specifications, monitor design and execution, support root-cause investigations, and ensure smooth project closures in alignment with change-management processes.

• Develop and implement projects that improve site performance
• Utilize plant, corporate and third-party resources
• Manage contractors
• Prepare bid specifications, evaluate bids, and select engineering and construction contractors.
• Monitor/manage the design, cost, schedule, and execution of projects
• Help resolve process and mechanical equipment related issues
• Manage the start-up of projects and project closure activities
• Adhere to the Management of Change process
• Provide root cause investigation technical support as needed.
