Job summary

Zobility in Houston, TX seeks a technical engineering support professional to assist in planning, design, cost estimating, risk assessment, and pre-sanction stages of pipeline projects in the Gas and Liquids business units. You will help develop Front-end engineering, schedules, and execution strategies while liaising with sponsors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of oil and gas engineering, operations, project management, and/or project development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with team members.
• Ability to manage projects from development to sanction/execution.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders; preliminary determination of regulatory requirements; completion of Front-end engineering and designs, cost estimates, and project execution strategies are developed.
• Develop realistic and reliable project schedules and cost estimates for projects, while appropriately defining risks, uncertainties and likelihood for those schedules and cost estimates.
• Develop charters for Rough Order of Magnitude to Class 3 scope supported by estimates and schedules to meet the needs of various sponsors.
• Charters define critical information, specific to each project to be used by executive management to make decisions.
• Provide regular formal and informal project management reporting to Senior Management and stakeholders on assigned projects
