Responsibilities:
- Lead, organize, perform and ensure all design and technical activities of a project follow contractual requirements.
- Work within related company departments and disciplines, between the Project and Client, and between the Project and supplier/sub‑contractors.
- Promote safety within the company, meeting or advancing the company’s safety standards.
- Coordinate assigned engineering resources, locally or with remote international team members and peers.
- Foster collaboration and alignment between disciplines and engineering contractors.
- Facilitate weekly meetings, issue minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Demonstrate an interdisciplinary mindset including Civil, Structural, Mechanical (static and rotating), Piping, Process, Process Control, Systems, Electrical and Instrumentation engineering.
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables per project schedule; inform the project scheduler and PM of the status and risk of each deliverable.
- Secure quality of deliverables; verify compliance with E&C Global standards, US and local codes.
- Support the Proposal team and review the Basis of Design.
- Prepare Technical Requisition Summary for procurement and guide technical clarifications with suppliers.
- Support procurement in expediting Vendor Documentation Records and provide technical support during manufacturing.
- Maintain a log of pending actions and implement document control practices (Alair, G-drive).
- Maintain a record of engineering capitalization points.
- Ensure project execution plan is followed and update the plan when needed.
- Identify, track and mitigate impact of changes after project signature; build alignment on approval and expedite resolution.
- Support technical Design Reviews and facilitate project gate review meetings.
- Interface with Design Authorities and the Overall Design Authority.
- Support Fabrication and Construction by resolving technical issues.
- Apply collaborative change management with commercial awareness.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Engineering required (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in Project Engineering within related Industrial Design or operations.
- Proficient with Google Workspace and MS Office.
- Ability to travel to various job sites on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of all Engineering disciplines and process.
- Experience in Project Management and Customer relationships.
- Site experience (Construction or Commissioning).
- Second language (French or German) preferred.
- Project Management certification (PMI/PMP) preferred.

Office environment with occasional business trips.
