Based in Hartford, Connecticut - we are major Commercial General Contractors licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. We are seeking an assistant project manager with 1-3 years of experience to join our ranks.

Location: Hartford, CT

Compensation: $60,000 to $90,000

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project management tasks including RFI/RFP submittals, processing change orders, and ensuring quality and efficient project completion.
  • Collaborate with ownership, superintendents, and subcontractors.
  • Help plan all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
  • Obtain necessary regulations and permits.
  • Order necessary supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure projects align with agreed-upon plans.
  • Coordinate the full project lifecycle with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Ownership.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and ensure efficiency.

Desired Skills (Not Mandatory):

  • Entry-Level Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD, and similar tools/technology.
  • Some knowledge of construction processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to be agile on the job site, managing moving timelines and objectives.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field(s).
