Job summary

22nd Century Technologies Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support its Gas Power generator projects. You will lead technical coordination, manage scope changes, and ensure deliverables meet contract, budget, and schedule requirements.

You will collaborate with customers, EPCs, Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, while conducting CKOMs and DLMs and presenting risks and mitigation plans to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years in Project Engineering, Design Engineering, and/or Field Engineering for generator projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical coordination and serve as a key point of contact for customer technical inquiries and change requests.
• Coordinate with customers, EPCs, Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and field personnel.
• Review contract documentation and communicate technical requirements to engineering teams.
• Conduct Customer Kick-Off Meetings (CKOMs) and Design Liaison Meetings (DLMs).
• Evaluate cost and schedule impacts of scope changes and support change management.
• Resolve complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned.
• Monitor engineering schedules, budgets, risks, and project deliverables.
• Support quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reporting and engineering budget management.
• Present project risks, resolutions, and mitigation plans to senior management.
