Job summary

MPI, a premier GC with local Columbus presence, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to ensure projects meet drawings and specs, manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and supplier orders while maintaining schedules and safe sites. The role emphasizes collaboration with subs and site leaders in a growth-minded, mentoring environment.

The successful candidate will hold a Construction Management degree, have 1+ year GC experience, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, with

• 1+ year of General Contracting experience.
• Experienced in commercial, mixed-use, healthcare or education projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assure all projects are built to drawings and specification.
• Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders.
• Assure all materials orders are executed.
• Daily project paperwork.
• Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines.
• Maintaining workflow and strong relations with subs.
• Maintain and organize field documents (Drawings, specifications, etc).
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Partake and actively participate in company training sessions.
• Assure site superintendents maintain clean and safe sites.
