Job summary

Hildreth Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support all phases of construction projects, from planning to closeout. You will coordinate between teams, maintain docs, track costs, and help keep projects on budget in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, and capable of balancing field and office duties while growing with a team that values relationships, integrity, service, and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update, and distribute construction documents, drawings, and logs
  • Support RFIs, submittals, and change order documentation
  • Monitor subcontractor progress, schedules, and deliveries
  • Assist in preparing and updating project and lookahead schedules
  • Track project costs, assist with estimating and take-offs
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes and punch list reports
  • Coordinate closeout documentation and warranty information
  • Provide hands‑on support in the field and office
  • Perform other project-related duties as assigned

Role Summary:

As a Project Engineer at Hildreth Construction, you’ll play a critical support role throughout all phases of construction projects, from planning to closeout. You will assist in coordinating efforts between teams, maintaining documentation, resolving field issues, and ensuring our projects stay on budget.
