Job summary

C.A. Hull LLC in Michigan seeks a Project Engineer to support the Project Management team on bridge construction and rehabilitation projects.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage day-to-day project tasks, and maintain strong client and owner relationships to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 1 year of experience in transportation project construction.
• MDOT experience is a plus.
• Strong budgeting and cost control understanding.
• Proficiency with construction software and computing tools.

The Position

Project Engineers work directly with the Project Management team to manage the completion of new bridge construction and bridge rehabilitation projects in Michigan. From subcontractor management to direct relationship management with clients and owners, Project Engineers play a vital role in the success of the Company and don’t just sit on the sidelines! This position may also be assigned to work with other departments such as Equipment, Estimating, or Safety.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or relevant experience
• At least 1 year of experience in the construction of transportation projects preferred
• Experience working with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is a plus!
• Understanding of project budgets, cost control and financial management
• Significant experience with computers and a variety of construction software
• Extreme attention to detail

Compensation, Benefits, and Structure

The position is full-time and permanent, with a competitive salary based on skills and experience.
