Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking a Project Engineer in Chelmsford, MA to manage complex aerospace and defense programs. You will serve as CAM, maintain IMS for advanced equipment programs, and ensure alignment with milestones and resource plans.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, oversee procurement if needed, and apply EVMS for project control. Prior ERP experience (SAP) and IMS development are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of Project Management experience.
• Active Secret clearance required to start.
• Experience with Earned Value Measurement (EVMS) and CAM.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with IMS development and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Control Account Manager (CAM) for Advanced Programs.
• Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for Advanced Test Equipment programs.
• Align IMS with milestones and resource plans.
• Act as primary material procurement liaison for Advanced Programs.
• Oversee requisitions, receipt verification, and kitting operations.
• Identify and drive continuous process improvement initiatives to boost project execution efficiency.
• Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVMS) for project control and performance measurement.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Active Secret clearance required to start.

• 3+ years of Project Management experience.

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Experience with Earned Value Measurement (EVMS) and Control Account Management (CAM).

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

• Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance.

• Experience with defense acquisition regulations (DFARS) is a plus.

• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
