Job summary

The Structures Company, LLC is seeking qualified engineers for a top‑tier client in the national aerospace and defense sector. This contract role requires an active Top Secret clearance to start and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

You will lead multi‑disciplinary integration across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, thermodynamics, electronics, controls, and actuation for next‑generation weapon systems, while coordinating with MRB, QA, fabrication, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required to start.
• Experience in airframe structure design and analysis is required.
• Experience with metallic and composite design.
• Experience with CATIA V5 and/or 3DX.
• Experience with GD&T.
• Experience interacting with suppliers and production operations.
• MRB coordination and support experience.
• Experience with hand stress analysis.
• Experience with hypersonic boost‑glide systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads integration and design synthesis across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, thermodynamics, electronics, controls, and actuation for next‑generation weapon systems.
• Conducts multi‑disciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance and cost.
• Coordinates with fabrication, assembly, MRB, quality, and supply‑chain teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Generates technical and administrative materials for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Supports and conducts integration of Special Mission programs across multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Applies experience in airframe structure design and analysis for aerospace systems.
• Applies experience with metallic and composite materials design.
• Uses CATIA V5 and 3DX for design and integration tasks.
• Coordinates MRB activities and support for production operations.
• Applies hand stress analysis methods for structural evaluation.

• Experience interacting with suppliers, external customers, and Production Operations.
