Job summary

LF Driscoll, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a Traveling Project Engineer to support data center projects across the Northeast and Midwest. You will coordinate estimating, purchasing, operations, and accounting to ensure quality and client standards are met.

As primary client liaison, you will lead project management, coordinate bids with subcontractors, and drive operational excellence while onboarding and training local teams and partners for seamless collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS/BA preferred in Construction, Engineering or Management.
• 1–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact and lead for estimating and project management operations for specific client accounts.
• Coordinate all bidding and operational coordination with subcontractors and/or 3rd-party general contractors as required per project.
• Support local teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Onboarding and training of STO Building Group personnel and local subcontractors.
• Onboarding and training of client and partner personnel.
• Motivating a unified team focused on organizational and account goals.
• Schedule adherence.
• Help facilitate data gathering, KPI tracking, and reporting for internal and client use.

TheProject Engineeris to ensure that the team is unified and that the product that Estimating,Purchasing, Operations and Accounting produces is of the quality and content expected of their client’s andorganization’sstandards.

TheProject Engineer main points of focus should be:

• Serve as the primary client contact and lead for all estimating and project management operations for specific client accounts.

• Supporting on-boarding and training of STOBG personnel and local subcontractors.

• Helpfacilitatethe behavior of all parties working within the platform to ensure we are gathering theappropriate data, KPI’s, etc. for our internal use and our client’s success.
• Monitoring and evaluating KPI’s across their region toidentifyopportunities for improvement of processes and project team performance for all team members (end to end).

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Construction, Engineering, Management preferred
• 1- 3 years of related experience and/or training
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
