Job summary

Evermont Group is seeking a Project Engineer for its healthcare and life science construction team in San Diego. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and senior leadership on hospital, pharmaceutical and biotech projects in Southern California.

Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams, managing RFIs and submittals, and helping with procurement, scheduling and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working for a general contractor in a Project Engineer or similar construction role.
• Healthcare or life science construction experience.
• Exposure to commercial projects of meaningful size and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and project coordination.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Project Engineer - Healthcare and Life Science Construction

We are partnering with an established Southern California general contractor to hire a Project Engineer for its growing healthcare and life science construction team in San Diego.

The company specializes in healthcare and life science construction, delivering projects for hospitals, pharmaceutical, biotech and other institutional clients across Southern California. It has built a strong base of repeat clients and has a growing pipeline of work across San Diego.

This is an opportunity to join a smaller, established contractor where Project Engineers get meaningful exposure to projects and work closely with experienced Project Managers, Superintendents and senior leadership.

The Role

• Support the delivery of healthcare construction projects across San Diego

What We're Looking For
