The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects from concept through commissioning. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage capital projects including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution.
• Collaborate with process engineers, plant personnel, and external vendors to ensure project alignment with operational goals.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting of new systems and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project engineering within a chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of process systems, piping, instrumentation, and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, SAP).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• PMP certification or Six Sigma training is a plus.
