Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

We are searching for a Construction Project Engineer to support project teams on high-end residential projects in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. Please only apply if you are currently available to work in San Francisco.

As a Project Engineer, you are dedicated to supporting the Project Manager and project team in maintaining all project documentation and facilitating construction activities from the office. You may occasionally be on site, but this is not an onsite labor position.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Creating and maintaining all project documentation, including; vendor purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders
• Generating and/or issuing RFIs, Submittals, Drawings, Specifications, and other project communications
• Tracking responses and communication information to the appropriate party
• Assisting in any ongoing project estimating as the project evolves and changes
• Compiling the project close-out book
• Ensuring all plans and permits are accounted for, and copies are delivered to the Owner, as well as retained for files

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Construction Management (REQUIRED)
• 0 - 2 years experience in residential construction
• Experience with technology: Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam Revue, and Procore
• Some knowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials, and tools used in residential and commercial construction
• Some understanding of architectural and engineering practices
• Some ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, active listening, and team-building skills
• Excellent organizational skills
