Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale construction projects. You will maintain project controls, documentation, reporting, and cross-functional coordination with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes tracking actions, RFIs, submittals and turnover requirements while ensuring timely visibility into milestones and risks. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction/delivery fields.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage docs, records and multiple priorities.
  • Experience tracking RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and status reporting.
  • Ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar project management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of large-scale construction projects by maintaining controls, documentation, reporting and coordination.
  • Track actions, RFIs, submittals, turnover requirements and milestones for visibility into progress and risks.
  • Serve as a coordination resource for project teams, driving follow-through and reporting.
  • Ensure project information is accurate, organized and readily available for decision-making.

Job description

  • -Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • -0-4 years of experience in construction, project engineering, project controls, or a related project delivery role.
  • -Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation, project records, and multiple concurrent priorities.
  • -Experience tracking project actions, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and status reporting.
  • -Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal project stakeholders.
  • -Proficiency with Procore (or similar project management software) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • -Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to elevate issues and communicate project status clearly.
  • -Detail-oriented approach with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
  • -Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • -Familiarity with project controls, construction scheduling, and project reporting processes.
  • -Experience supporting procurement activities and tracking long-lead equipment or owner-furnished equipment (OFCI).
  • -Exposure to commissioning, turnover, closeout, or operational readiness processes.
  • -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, field-based construction environment.
  • -Experience coordinating multiple workstreams while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and organization.
  • -Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project issues.
Job Description

The Project Engineer supports the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects by maintaining project controls, documentation, reporting, and coordination across assigned scopes of work. Working closely with construction managers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders, this role helps ensure project information is accurate, organized, and readily available for decision-making.
