Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our corporate office. The ideal candidate has 5 years in project engineering, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel for work. You will work directly with the owner to structure new initiatives and grow the company.

We offer competitive compensation in the $100k–$115k range, plus medical, dental, and vision insurance and paid time off. Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm at our Buffalo office.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field; MBA a plus.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA/DEC regulations and standards.
• Experience coordinating with customers or suppliers on complex projects.
• Experience with regulatory codes and agencies.
• Proficient in engineering design software; strong communication skills.
• Highly organized, able to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects within an expanding engineering department.
• Develop project scope based on operational requirements.
• Manage capital project planning and on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee projects and personnel related to engineering initiatives.

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $115,000.00 Annually

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team!

Buffalo Biodiesel is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to assist at our corporate office in a wide range of duties and tasks. The ideal candidate will have 5 years working as a Project Engineer and must have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and have the ability to do some travel for work assignments. This person will work directly with the company's owner to build on existing and structure new company projects and initiatives.

Qualifications / Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field. MBA a plus.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Highly knowledgeable on OSHA and DEC regulations and standards.
• Prior experience with PNG.
• Prior experience working with regulatory code and agencies.
• Proven experience coordinating and interfacing with customers and/or suppliers on complex projects or issues.
• Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task.
• Strong time management and analytical skills

• Developing overall project scope based on operational requirements.
• Managing capital project planning and execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of high-impact initiatives supporting business growth.
