Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team at the corporate office. The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience, independence, and the ability to travel for work assignments.

You will collaborate with the owner to structure existing and new projects, ensuring scope aligns with company goals. Ideal candidates will have a BS or MS in a related field (MBA a plus), knowledge of OSHA/DEC regulations, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field; MBA a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and DEC regulations and standards.
• Experience with PNG and regulatory codes/agencies.
• Proven ability coordinating with customers and suppliers on complex projects.
• Proficient in engineering design software; strong written and verbal communication.
• Highly organized, able to multi-task and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects within a growing engineering department.
• Develop overall project scope based on operational requirements.
• Manage capital project planning and execution for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide oversight of projects and personnel related to engineering initiatives.

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team!

Buffalo Biodiesel is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to assist at our corporate office in a wide range of duties and tasks. The ideal candidate will have 5 years working as a Project Engineer and must have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and have the ability to do some travel for work assignments. This person will work directly with the company’s owner to build on existing and structure new company projects and initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field. MBA a plus.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Highly knowledgeable on OSHA and DEC regulations and standards.
• Prior experience with PNG.
• Prior experience working with regulatory code and agencies.
• Proven experience coordinating and interfacing with customers and/or suppliers on complex projects or issues.
• Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task.
• Strong time management and analytical skills
