Job summary

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a Project Engineer for a BILLION-DOLLAR manufacturing partner in the United States. The role focuses on evaluating and upgrading equipment to boost automation and efficiency on the shop floor.

You will troubleshoot performance issues with maintenance, drive CAPEX projects, and translate ideas into real-life improvements that reduce manual labor while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in high volume manufacturing focused on project, CAPEX, CI, or process improvements.
• Experience with equipment upgrades or efficiency/cost-savings initiatives related to labor, material, scrap, etc.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing equipment to increase intelligence, reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot underperforming equipment with maintenance to identify root causes.
• Implement and drive automation projects to reduce manual labor and improve productivity.

Requirements:

• 2–5+ years of high volume manufacturing experience focused on project, CAPEX, Industrial, CI, Process or manufacturing
• Experience with equipment upgrades, or manufacturing efficiency and cost savings projects related to labor, material, scrap, etc.
• Strong mechanical aptitude & not afraid to get their hands dirty
• Hands-on problem-solving experience – able to go out on the shop floor identify root causes
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is highly preferred
