KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) in Houston, TX seeks a Project Director – Offshore to lead large EPC offshore projects, typically up to a TIC value of $5 billion, from scope through execution. You will oversee a broad staff or a profit center, ensuring safe, on-time delivery and financial success.
The role requires 12–15+ years in EPC, deep offshore experience, and strong contract and risk management, with a PE license preferred.

KBR is looking for a Project Director – Offshore to manage large and complex EPC offshore projects having a TIC value, typically, of up to $ 5 billion. The Project Director will be responsible for the execution and management of EPC projects, and will be independently accountable for a large staff or support arm of the organization or a single profit/loss or revenue center, major product line, or support function.
Assures safe project execution to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success.
Delivers expected results for financial, HSE, client satisfaction, budget, and schedule performance.
Serves as prime point of contact between the client and company.
Assures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.
Manages and coordinates activities of all project personnel by direct supervision, through subordinates or through joint ventures, alliances, etc. In the proposal phase, works closely with Sales to evaluate and interpret requirements. May serve as a proposal manager.
Defines precise scope of work and identify changes between the original proposal and final contractual agreement.
Negotiates changes with the client.
Plans the project execution and revises the plan as necessary and assures adherence to the plan.
Keeps the client and company advised of project status.
Leads the project management team and is responsible for the successful completion of the project. Abides by our business ethics.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in EPC projects with an average of 15+ years which includes several years of Project Management level experience.
Experience with large EPC projects in the field. Working with construction partners on schedules, cost forecasts and subcontract management.
Experience with managing / negotiating complex commercial issues with client, JV partners and third parties.
Skills typically required through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and possession of a P.E
