Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware seeks a Door and Hardware Project Detailer for our Dallas location. The role focuses on detailing, reviewing plans, and coordinating with contractors, architects, and project managers to meet project timelines and budgets.

You will utilize Smartsheets, Comsense, and Pro-tech to assemble submittals, schedules, and drawings while ensuring code compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience reading plans & specifications.
• Proficiency with detailing software (Comsense or Pro-tech).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Manage project information through Smartsheets and Comsense folders.
• Contact customers via email and phone to obtain project information.
• Identify missing documents (plans, specs, quotes) and organize them.
• Detail openings by reviewing contract documents and quantities, noting gaps, and offering solutions.
• Prepare shop drawings, schedules and submittals using approved catalogs.
• Review submittals for accuracy and contract scope; ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with contractor, architect and project managers to meet schedules and budget.

Our family-owned and operated company is currently seeking a Door and Hardware Project Detailer to join our team at our Dallas Location! Our Dallas location is set to open in 2025!The Detailing Department is the lifeline of our growing business.
