Job summary

Creative Office Resources in Boston, MA, is seeking a Dealership Designer to join our Design department. You will plan and specify contract furniture, produce technical drawings, and coordinate across teams to deliver complex furniture solutions for dealership projects.

The role emphasizes CET and AutoCAD proficiency, space planning, and collaboration with MillerKnoll partners. This position is hybrid, with three in-office days required and growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years’ experience drawing and specifying contract furnishings, preferably CET or CAP.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
• CET, CAP Designer, CAP Worksheet, SketchUp experience preferred.
• BS or BA degree in Interior Design from a FIDER/CIDA accredited institution preferred.
• High level of attention to detail and technical proficiency.
• Knowledge of building, accessibility, and life safety codes.
• Ability to coordinate, plan, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities with speed and accuracy.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and team-focused.
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Programming and space planning, site verification, product specifications, drawings, product inventory, coordination with consultants, fabric and finish palette selection.
• Assisting sales with presentations for clients.
• Focus on complex projects including reconfigurations and multi-phase account projects.
• Work directly with clients to solve ongoing furniture needs.
• Sr. Designer provides mentoring to emerging designers.
