Job summary

Corporate Environments of Georgia provides design services for dealership customers, including site/inventory verifications, programming, space planning, furniture specifications, material selection, installation drawings, and site-to-plan review. This role collaborates with Sales, Client Services, Design, and installation firms to ensure accurate plans and specifications.

The Project Designer position requires a BS/BFA in Interior Design, proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, and strong communication.

Qualifications

BS or BFA in Interior Design required.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit required.
Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills.
1–3 years in contract furniture industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Design process: work with salesperson, customer, and Designers to create and present plans that meet client's needs and budget.
Site review: measure site, check plan-to-site accuracy, inventory existing product, produce as-built drawings/specifications, reconfigure as needed.
Specification: prepare drawings for installation, generate product specifications, verify specifications against plans, use electronic specification program.
Manage changes and revisions throughout the design process.
Support product proposal presentations to customers.
Keep electronic project documentation, including key decisions, conversations, approvals, sign-offs, and meeting notes.
Communicate regularly to customer and dealership regarding design project status.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Design.
