Job summary

MG2 Corporation in Seattle, WA is seeking a Project Designer (Level 2) to join our Community Environments Market team. You will assist with original design concepts and contribute to design deliverables for new construction and major renovations, ensuring design intent and coordination across disciplines.

The role requires 6+ years of experience in architecture/design, proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Certification as a licensed professional preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in design production and 3D visualization.
• Understanding of the relationship between design and constructability.
• Experience with sustainable material sourcing and embodied carbon preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with generation of original design concepts and completion of design deliverables including preliminary design documentation, conceptual plans and elevations, 3D renderings, and exhibits.
• Collaborate with architectural and design staff on projects of various types and scale, considering jurisdictional requirements and client standards.
• Support production-level efforts and consultant design integration as needed.
• Coordinate project deliverables with external consultants and project partners.
• Conduct design research from benchmarking sources for ideation and detailed design documentation.
